General Description

In this system, aluminum pipes are wrapped and taped around the freezer part of the refrigerator.

The working principle of the system:

  • The aluminium pipe is fed from the coil and loaded to the system by the feeder unit.
  • Robot rotates the plastic part while pipe and tape are fed.Thanks to this movement, the aluminum pipe is taped to the outer surface of the plastic with aluminum tape.
  • The seventh axis which drives the feeding system works synchronized with robot movements.
  • Robot gives signal for automatic cutting off pipe and tape.
  • The system automatically countersinks to head and end of the pipe.
  • After the winding process is finished, the robot drops the freezer plastic to the unloading conveyor, then picks the new one to start a new cycle.
